Sunshine Free School - India

Our sunshine free school is located in Visakhaptnum. It is located in a poverty stricken community and gives free education to children who can not afford or do not have the opportunity to receive schooling. Sunshine Free school is taught in English and 130 children are receiving free education and one meal per day.
Through the school, relationships are built with the children and eventually the parents. By building these relationships PFACF staff is then able to safely go in to the area's to do additional community development safely. For example trained teams go throughout the remote villages in Andhra Pradesh and Orissa teaching first aid.
The state governments allow free education at primary level. But, not all Indians get the opportunity to go to school. Schools are funded from different sources like government, local bodies and private funds. The smaller the funds the less the students receive. Projects For Asia Charitable Foundation Inc. gives the opportunity to those children who would not ordinarily be able to receive an education.
