Description of Courses
General English
The GET English School’s offers many different English programs throughout the year. Each course is complete in it self with certificates of course completion issued to participants at the conclusion of each course. Students are given a placement test to determine their level of instruction.
The GET English program is interactive in it’s American English instruction with conversation being it’s primary focus. The skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar are taught. Included in the language program are independent class assignments to be completed in the school’s computer and listening laboratories.
All GET School general English courses are thematic in nature. Authentic conversations with the use of real-life language tasks offer both focused practice and opportunities for natural interaction, promoting both fluency and accuracy. Students progress from the beginning to the advanced level as they follow the course syllabus.

GET English through Movies
Learning English is truly fun at GET School Using suitable movies to learn English gives students and opportunity to experience the language in it’s natural context. Idiom use, "relaxed" grammar structure, pronunciation, accent and intonation, as well as cultural understanding are just some of the highlights of learning English through movies. The four learning skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing will all be used to complete various learning activities. Included in the course are Computer Lab and Listening Lab work assignments.
Listening, Speaking, and Pronunciation
This course is for the student who wants to improve his English vocabulary, spoken English proficiency, and pronunciation. It is an interactive, lively class taught totally in English. For intermediate level students.
Grammar and Writing
The Grammar and Writing is a systematic course offered to students to improve their English grammar and writing skills. Integrated into the course are the skills of speaking and reading. Computer Lab work will also be regularly assigned to complete various tasks.
Tourism
Offered to people who are interested in or are involved in the field of tourism: travel agents, tour guides, and airport personnel. The course will help the students to better communicate in English to foreigners coming to Thailand for a short trip or vacation. Taught by an American.
GET English through Drama and Music
Designed for students who want to improve the way they present themselves and communicate in English language learning and practical classes in drama and music. It also provides opportunities for group and self-expression. The lessons focus on speaking, listening, vocabulary development, and pronunciation. Offered to intermediate and upper intermediate students.
